Almadex hosted community events to explain the drilling process and keep locals up to date with how work is proceeding. Community members visited the drill rig and had an information session in the core shack.
“Almadex cuts 70.45m of 2.32 g/t gold and 0.59% copper (3.13 g/t AuEq or 2.28 % CuEq) and 40.45m of 1.38g/t gold and 0.43% Copper, both within 431.90m of 0.86g/t gold and 0.27% Copper in Hole EC-17-026 at the Norte Zone El Cobre Project Mexico.”
With these excellent recent new drill results [July 25th, 2017], the Norte Zone is showing the potential to develop into a copper gold porphyry deposit with grades that are being profitably mined elsewhere.
Roads and drill pads are nearly ready to drill the very first hole ever on the Villa Rica Zone a few kilometres from the Norte Zone. Here, we will be testing beneath a recently found rock outcrop with plus gram gold values. This outcrop, which we have called Raya Tembrillo, is within a large, strong induced polarization target with associated anomalous copper and gold values in soils. Fluid inclusion analysis has indicated that Raya Tembrillo appears to be the top of a porphyry system similar to the Norte Zone.
